Dr. Melissa Bray, MD performs weekly bedside wound management rounds at skilled nursing facilities all across Southern Chicagoland area. This program is provided at no cost to the facility. Dr. Bray is part of Vohra Wound Physicians, the Nation’s Premier Wound Care Physician group. Dr. Bray provides MDS 3.0 compliant electronic medical records, wound outcomes reports, and quality assessment wound status reports.

The wound management program includes:

• Wound and skin assessment
• Wound staging and debridement
• Wound and suspicious lesion biopsy
• Dressing recommendations
• Individualized staff education is also offered

Dr. Ahmed Elgamal

Physiatrist

Dr. Elgamal is a Physiatrist with over 15 years of experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is affiliated with several hospitals including Ingalls, Loyola Health System, MacNeal, Weiss Memorial, and Mercy Hospital. Dr. Elgamal is board certified and a Fellow through the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is active within the community and was awarded the Human Relief Agency Award for participation and arrangement of fundraising programs for the thousands of refugees during the Bosnian Crises and participated in organizing fundraising dinners for the September 11th tragedy.
